Policy Corner merupakan sebuah wadah kegiatan akademis Mahasiswa Magister Kepemimpinan dan Inovasi Kebijakan, yang diadakan setiap bulan sekali. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya terbatas pada aktivitas diskusi melainkan juga dikemas dengan berbagai aktivitas seperti bedah film, bedah buku, workshop dan lain sebagainya. Tema yang dibicarakan juga tidak hanya sebatas isu kebijakan melainkan isu-isu lainnya yang sedang hangat diperbincangkan. Pada bulan ini Policy Corner akan mengadakan kegiatan diskusi dengan judul "Transformasi Kepemimpinan di Aras Lokal".

This conference aims to discuss the nexus of population and social policy in the current situation, where the world is shifting owing to the development of information technology and globalised governance. The conference terms this a 'disrupted world', where public services and economic activities have shifted and service providers and economic actors have tended to use digital devices rather than employ conventional non-digital ones. This has not only influenced the private domain, but also the public sphere, including social youth and health policies, international labour migration, and social protection. This 'disrupted world' provides challenges and opportunities for using big data. Using the label "Population and Social Policy in a Disrupted World", the Center for Population and Policy Studies (CPPS), Universitas Gadjah Mada, is organising a conference to facilitate reputable experts, researchers, and practitioners in discussing their studies on the topics of population and social policy.
